Charming old demijohn (early 20th century), about 30l, in a pretty olive/bottle glass. Its elegant neck, "sabre", diametrically opposed vertical lines of a probable blown mold but also another on its circumference at 2/3 of its height, some small dots encrusted in the glass and many bubbles, give it a charming singularity and a real authenticity. Unearthed in a dirty state of almost a century at the bottom of a barn, it has been impeccably cleaned even if there can sometimes still be some very small indelible traces of its container or its wear of the past.
