Long, narrow buffet

Antique sideboard with two wire-mesh (or cheesecloth) doors, reminiscent of a pantry, giving the piece a display-glass look while maintaining a slightly blurred appearance. Long and narrow fir sideboard. The raw wood top has a patinated finish with traces of old green and beige paint. The rest of the piece is off-white with a patina from use, and the shelves are unfinished wood. The piece has been restored and treated and is in very good condition. The doors close securely with a lovely original lock. This piece had its first life as a china cabinet in a small country restaurant in the Bresse region, then ended up in the grandfather's workshop when the restaurant closed in the 1970s. This piece can be used as a TV stand, china cabinet, or bookcase. It offers ample storage, has a lot of charm, and is a unique antique.
