Plate from the Faïencerie de Pornic with hand-painted floral decoration, centred around a large pink flower with delicately graduated petals, accompanied by green foliage and touches of blue and yellow. The composition, expressive yet perfectly balanced, evokes the refined decorative aesthetic of the late 20th century. The Laken model, created in 1987, is recognisable by its scalloped rim highlighted with a speckled blue line, which elegantly frames the central decoration and adds relief and depth to the piece. The visible brush strokes and subtle variations in glaze testify to true craftsmanship, making each piece unique. Originally created under the name MBFA – Manufacture Bretonne de Faïences Artistiques, this model is part of the history of the Pornic workshop before the factory became the Faïencerie de Pornic in 1994, following its acquisition by Jules Wagner, while continuing the tradition of hand-painted decoration that has made the brand famous. In good vintage condition, with slight signs of wear. Diameter 20 cm.
