Henry II style carved chairs

These majestic seats rest on four turned baluster legs connected to each other by an H-shaped spacer also turned into a baluster. The two front legs are connected by a richly carved and openwork crotch bar; The back is very high and framed by two columns ending at their ends with two spinning tops. It is topped with a magnificent richly carved and openwork pediment. The upholstery is old and could be preserved, the covering fabric is an old mechanical tapestry with a braided finish. Note some old traces of woodworms without affecting the solidity of the structure. The upholstery of one of the seats should be redone.
