Jean Paul GOURDON. The Percheron Bust in plaster.

Magnificent bust of a Percheron, in very good condition, signed on the terrace, limited edition, entirely reworked by the sculptor himself so that each horse is different. Jean-Paul Gourdon is a naturalist animal sculptor, best craftsman of France in 1997. His ceramics inspired by nature and the 18th century adorn the finest tables in Europe, particularly those of Alain Ducasse. He continues to work in his workshop in Marmande on increasingly impressive creations.
