Set of 6 English Chippendale chairs from the 19th century – Mahogany, jacquard fabric

Set of six English Chippendale style chairs in dark brown stained mahogany, 19th century. The structure features typical characteristics of the style: cabriole legs ending in pad feet and medallion backs with scalloped contours. The curved seat and backrest are upholstered in a blue jacquard fabric with repetitive folk motifs (deer, rabbits, birds, female figures, fruit baskets, floral patterns), secured with a row of round-headed upholstery nails in bronze/black finish. Seat height: 50 cm. Dimensions: H. 98 cm, W. 45 cm. Unit weight: 8 kg. Workshop report: all chairs are stable. Visible wear on the legs and backrest supports, with scratches and areas of patina consistent with the age of the piece. Reupholstery can be done upon request by our workshops.
