Painted collector's plate with openwork edge epinal by henri schmitt 1900

This beautiful plate features a superb landscape decoration, entirely hand-painted by henri schmitt. Probably made of lunéville earthenware, it has an openwork border like the botanique model by rovina in epinal. This plate bears the signature "henri schmitt epinal". The lake landscape depicts a forest and a lake in shades of blue-grey. In good condition, this plate measures 23 cm in diameter. I note some dents on this plate: 2 major chips and reglued borders, stains and signs of wear.
