double-sided wooden panel with carved inscription "Clairefontaine"

Charming old double-sided panel in thick wood painted white. The inscription "clairefontaine" is beautifully carved in hollows in the wood and has been "ironed" in blue paint (more approximate than the sculpture). The edges of the panel are cut into bevels on both sides. I do not know what the wood is, but the panel is very heavy for its size. It is a dark, dense wood, which has withstood the weather (i guess it had to be used outdoors). The panel is equipped with two fasteners to hang it (given the shape and the pointed end, I think that are "cavaliers nails" deformed) This panel is solid, in good general condition, but presents the patina of time and use and this is also what makes its charm: scratches, stains, shards, lacks on the paint. It measures 44 cm long and 13.5 cm high and 3.5 cm thick. It weighs 1.2 kg.
