Six armchairs Gerard van den Berg

Set of six chairs or armchairs by the dutch interior designer gerard van den berg, model "fellini" in velvet. Brutalist style. The backrests are reclining, which makes these chairs very comfortable! Wooden legs. The velvet covers are originally brown in color. As they show traces of discoloration, I wanted to tint them black. Unfortunately, the trial on three of them was inconclusive because the covers shrunk (see photo). They remain in very good condition, but can no longer close in the back. Notice to those who would like to re-cover them or take back the original covers by adding a yoke. The foam corners of the armrests of one of the chairs are split, but complete. Model of the 1990s, very rare on the market.
