Family Charentaise wardrobe in flamed solid walnut dating from the 18th century, featuring a large drawer beneath the chest, a gendarme hat cornice, and stylised carvings that give this large storage piece its historical character. The door closing mechanism is particularly sophisticated, making it a rare item. The set of keys is complete and original. The wardrobe shows no major defects. The wardrobe is dismountable/re-mountable thanks to an ingenious system of dowels.
