Lamp stone of the Gard

Gard stone lamp recovered from a luxurious house. It is a lamp with a very natural side, of limestone of river, even marine, because shell: it has been cut on a lathe like a classic lamp of wood, and this is how, made with this material, we obtain this natural, marine, infinite, complex, deep, saline or calm fresh water feeling, waterfall atmosphere or very long and laminar flow, and pure, then a mixture, as if one chased the other, in an object from which we expected more, like the old bedside lamps of our grandparents. This is a powerful theme in a mundane object. Its weight of 6kg asserts its presence and feels like a pebble coming directly from the water. Suggestion: A red/pink lampshade can accompany its orange color to constitute a warm light. A white lampshade can integrate the lamp into a less raw decoration.
