Børge Mogensen Dinning Table

Dining table with drop leaves, teak frame, tabletop, and drop leaves. Steel supports. Designed around 1952. A similar table was exhibited at the Spring Exhibition of the Danish Handicraft Guild in 1953, where it was awarded the "Good Design" prize, and Børge Mogensen received the Købestævnet silver medal for furniture. Produced by Søborg Møbelfabrik. Height: 73 cm, Length: 140/240 cm, Width: 90 cm. Signs of wear, scratches, marks, and chips. It has been oiled with teak oil. The table was purchased at auction through Lauritz and has been restored to remove old oil and reveal the original teak color. A unique piece of classic Danish design.
