Pair of "Jul" armchairs by Alban-Sébastien Gilles for Ligne Roset

Superb pair of low armchairs with high backs, model "Jul", an iconic creation by designer Alban-Sébastien Gilles for the prestigious publisher Ligne Roset. These armchairs stand out for their clean geometric lines and monolithic silhouette. Very comfortable, they feature a deep seat and an integrated lumbar cushion for optimal support. They are upholstered in high-quality white leather, resting on four discreet grey lacquered metal legs. Authentic pieces signed by their design and bearing the "Made in France" label. A classic of French design from the 2000s. Condition. The armchairs are in good used condition. However, the leather shows a natural patina and visible signs of wear, particularly a crack on one corner of a backrest (see photo). The structure is perfectly sound and the comfort is intact. Note: A professional cleaning or a slight renovation of the leather would restore their full brilliance.
