Opaline glass Kandem pendant lamp model 409

Opaline glass kandem pendant lamp model 409 designed by bauhaus designer hinrich bredendiek for körting & mathiesen, circa 1930. The opaline glass lampshade is made of white opaline glass on the sides and the glass is matt transparent towards the bottom. There is a kandem stamp on the glass with model number 409. The fitting in the lamp is also marked with the kandem logo. The fixture is made of cast iron and black in color. The tube and ceiling cap are made of polished steel with a layer of clear lacquer. The glass has some minimal damage to the edge of the glass due to use. We have of course provided this lamp with new wiring. A beautiful rare bauhaus classic that will not look out of place in your hall, hallway or living room. H 86 / w 30 / d 30.
