Adorable ironstone ceramic, probably a soap dish or comb holder. It's hard to be sure of its original use, but what is certain is that it can also be used for many other purposes today: pocket emptier, spoon rest, coin collector. It will attract attention with its wonderful blue decoration called anemone, very fine, very elegant. It was produced by the saint amand et hamage factory in the north, and according to the stamp underneath, it dates from between 1896 and 1952. But for this decoration, I would rather lean towards the first quarter of the 20th century. It is in good general condition, no cracks, decoration clearly visible, but does not hide some marks that testify to its many lives and its hundred years: a chip on the edge, relatively important but ultimately not so visible, 2 small chips under the base, some small stains perhaps original for some. It measures 22.5 cm by 10 cm with a height at the edge of 2.5 cm.
