Elegant antique three-panel screen from the 1920s/1930s, resting on a wooden structure and fully dressed in lightly padded damask silk, in a pastel blue colour, a very elegant and luminous shade. The decor, inspired by chinoiserie, features delicate motifs of trees, landscapes, and birds woven into the fabric. The slight padding adds relief to the damask and a beautiful depth to the decor. Each panel is topped with a scalloped upper part and highlighted by dark upholstery tacks arranged in vertical lines, accentuating the structured elegance of the whole. The panels are connected by the fabric itself, without visible metal hinges, following a traditional tapestry technique. The overall condition is very good considering its age. Note: there is a small discreet tear of about 1.5 cm on one of the front panels, as well as slight stains. Other defects are located on the back panels: wear on the fabric edges and slightly marked fabric. All these defects are visible in the photos; they remain minor and do not affect the stability or decorative aspect of the piece. 📐Dimensions for each panel: 132 X 41 cm // Total width when opened: 123 cm // Thickness: 3 cm.
