Art Deco sideboard top, low display cabinet in solid walnut and mirror, 1940.

Low display cabinet from the Art Deco period (generally dating from the 1930s to 1940s), often referred to as a living room piece or a low library cabinet at counter height. It is the upper part of an old two-body sideboard. It is of late Art Deco style. It features geometric lines, softened rounded corners, fluted uprights in the centre, and the famous stepped feet. It is adorned with stylised floral motif carvings on the sides and the frieze. It is made of solid walnut and has a bevelled mirror. It is in good condition, sound, and comes with a key for its functional locks. Width 155, depth 40, height 87/92.
