Large Italian circular bench in leather, chromed metal structure, 1970

Large circular bench made in Italy in the 1970s, covered in its original black leather and featuring a chromed metal structure. This low and oversized format reflects the more casual approach to Italian seating furniture that developed during this time. Its mix of black leather, polished metal, and bold circular geometric shapes recalls the work of Willy Rizzo and the interiors of Italy in the 1970s. The seat consists of four separately padded elements fitted into a wide chromed metal band and resting on a cylindrical base. The original black leather is still in excellent vintage condition, showing only slight signs of wear and aging.
