Set of 6 black leather dining chairs by Afra & Tobia Scarpa, 1970's

Set of six dining chairs by Afra and Tobia Scarpa, made in the 1970s. Each chair has a strong wooden frame and a seat and back in black leather. The design is clean and solid. The thick legs and backrest support the rounded leather parts in a simple way. The mix of warm wood and black leather works well — one feels natural, the other more refined. Very good condition. Some signs of aging and patina on some of the chairs (see photo's).
