L51 Cipola pendant light by Alessandro Pianon for Vistosi, 1950s

This magnificent 'Onion' pendant light was designed by Alessandro Pianon for Vistosi in Italy. It features a hand-blown orange Murano glass globe. The interior is made of white opaline glass, which diffuses a warm and pleasant light. The cable is reinforced with a steel wire. Two different sizes were produced. This is the larger version with a diameter of 45 cm. It is in very good condition with slight signs of age and use. Total height: 123 cm (the cable can be easily shortened). Globe height: 40 cm. Diameter: 45 cm. The lamp has been rewired and fitted with an E27 socket. Origin: Italy, 1950s. Material: glass. All our lamps are compatible with LED bulbs.
