Old Vallauris coffee set

This stoneware tea set comes from Vallauris, the village of 100 potters. Original in every way, it has a rocky appearance. The set consists of 5 cups, 5 saucers, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, and a teapot or coffee pot. The thick, drippy glazing is expressed in mineral shades and highlights the unique shapes of the various pieces. The set is in good condition, with impressive glaze textures; a small glaze jump is noted on the teapot. Some pieces are stamped Vallauris on the underside. Cups: 7 to 10 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height. Saucers: 13 cm in diameter. Teapot: 12-22 cm in diameter and 22 cm in height. Milk jug: 11-15 cm and 13 cm in height. Cream jug: 8-13 cm in diameter, 10 cm in height.
