Leather Hat Box, 1920s

A leather hat box from the 1920s/1930s, comes from the czech republic, is in very good condition. It has original stickers from the post vienne hotel (austria) and the grand hotel in kupari (croatia). The grand hotel was built in 1920 by the czech investor, bäder ag, and was the first and very modern hotel in the kupari resort at that time. In the years 1920-1940 it was a popular vacation spot for wealthy czechs. Kupari eventually fell during the 1991/1992 war and was never rebuilt. Today it is known as the "bay of abandoned hotels" and attracts enthusiasts of mysterious places.
