Unframed painting (size 30 X 40 X 1.5cm) oil painting on canvas stapled to a wooden frame: dwellings (mine barracks Farms, barns?) visible in the foreground of the valley, on the edge of a watercourse with a landscape of high mountains in the background. Signed in black lower right antonio (unidentified spanish artist) pencil mentions on the back "circo de barrosa, vallon de b.". This is the valley of the barrosa river coming from the cirque of the same name, in upper aragon, province of huesca on the spanish side of the pyrenees. We can see the barrosa pass between the peaks of robinera and munia, whose crests are the border between spain and france. The view is taken from the direction of the parzan hospital, on the bielsa road. Canvas fully consolidated on the back, otherwise complete be. Ring for wall mounting. Period 20th century without precision. Packaged weight 750g.
