Large bevelled mirror

Superb mirror dating from 1908. It features harmonious curves and its frame is fully bevelled. Its reflection is stunning, and the few spots of foxing that adorn its backing give it the charm of objects that have survived for over a century. With generous dimensions, it serves as a statement piece wherever it is displayed. This mirror can be placed on the floor or hung on the wall (fixing system references available upon request). A charming little detail: the tiny numbers engraved at the top by the glazier at the time of manufacture (see photographs). A small piece of history to be treasured. NB: this item is an antique sold second-hand and has been restored by hand. It naturally shows irregularities as well as signs of age and wear. This is precisely what gives it charm and a unique character. In particular regarding this mirror: As mentioned above, the backing is slightly foxed and has some missing areas, which does not detract from the quality of the reflection (see photographs). As is usual with this type of mirror that adorned a wardrobe door, the frame shows irregularities due to its handcrafted cutting (see photographs).
