Designed in 2006–2007, the ‘DC204’ table by Vincenzo De Cotiis exemplifies the architect-designer’s exploration of sculptural restraint and material intensity. Produced in a strictly limited edition of eight examples plus four artist’s proofs, the piece is conceived as a console table yet, with its generous proportions, can comfortably seat up to eight people. The work is accompanied by a certificate issued by Vincenzo De Cotiis (16.9.2025), affirming its authenticity and edition status. The elongated, rounded top, finished in deep black lacquer, appears almost monolithic, its softly curved edges contrasting with the disciplined geometry of the metal base. The slender, tubular structure forms a continuous linear gesture, lending the table both visual lightness and architectural rigor.
