Gien earthenware plate

Large hollow dish in Gien earthenware with polychrome Japonais decor. Rich decoration of peonies and flowering branches inspired by Japanese decorative arts from the late 19th century. Shaped with a wavy edge. Very beautiful decorative presence as a centrepiece, fruit bowl, or decorative object. Gien mark. Generally in good condition with slight signs of wear.
