Magnificent pair of barbotine earthenware plates from the Sarreguemines factory, with a naturalistic relief decoration. They represent a bird in a foliage decoration, surrounded by an elegant motif of polychrome wheat ears on a green, yellow and brown background. The relief work and the deep colored enameling are typical of the late 19th / early 20th century production of Sarreguemines, in a very decorative rustic style. Manufacturer: Sarreguemines.
