Here are 2 magnificent "Grand Mania" model wall lights by the Italian designer Vico Magistretti, Artemide edition, 1963. The Mania wall light is one of the first lamps designed by Vico Magistretti. Designed in 1963, it was presented for the first time at the XIII Triennale of Milan in 1964, the year in which production began with the publisher Artemide. The lamp is fixed to the wall using a white lacquered metal clasp, it diffuses a soft light thanks to the two opaline Murano glass "shells", of different sizes and partially superimposed. There are two different versions of the model, the classic Mania with a diameter of 24cm and the Grande Mania presented here with a diameter of 28cm. The lamp was also later produced in a white polycarbonate version, less luxurious than the Murano glass and brass detail version on sale here. The two wall lights are in perfect condition, no breakage or missing, the Murano glass and the brass have simply been cleaned. The lamps are functional. Collectible pieces ready to take place in your home! Dimensions: H28 x L28 x D14
