Although it follows the codes of the famous Austrian company Thonet (parrot or tulip model), there are many reissues produced by companies like Fischel and Kohn. It is made of bent beech wood with a clear varnish finish. It features a top crown with 6 wide hooks for coats, 6 lower hooks for bags or children's coats, and a tripod base with a reinforcing ring (which often serves as an umbrella stand).
