Baccarat glass service model Cavour – Complete set with numbered decanters. I am offering for sale a remarkable Baccarat crystal glass service, model Cavour, dating from before 1936. This is a rare, complete set, perfectly matched, comprising 5 sizes of glasses as well as two magnificent decanters of the same model. Composition of the service. • Glasses size 1 – 17 cm X 8 cm: 5 pieces. • Glasses size 2 – 15 cm X 7 cm: 6 pieces. • Glasses size 3 – 13 cm X 6 cm: 6 pieces. • Glasses size 4 – 12 cm X 5 cm: 6 pieces. • Glasses size 5 – 9 cm X 4 cm: 6 pieces. Total of 29 glasses. Condition. • The set is in excellent condition, perfectly preserved. • Only one glass (in the intermediate size) has a very slight defect at the rim, almost imperceptible. • All other glasses are impeccable. • The glasses are not signed, which is normal for production prior to 1936. Decanters. • Two superb Baccarat decanters model Cavour, height 30 cm with stopper. • Both are numbered. • One of them has retained its original Baccarat label, a rare and highly sought-after detail.
