Secretary from the 1950s

Elegant secretary dating from the 1950s that we found in Épernay, Champagne. The design is characteristic of furniture from that era. It consists of a drop-down door in the upper part and an opening door in the lower part. It has been cleaned and disinfected, treated against potential insects. We then applied a primer, followed by two coats of linden green paint, and finally a water-based protective varnish. The screws and fittings are original. The lower key serves as a handle, as the lock does not function. Some old ink stains remain on the work surface and small signs of wear are present on the lower left side; the indicated price takes this into account, of course. Dimensions: height 138cm, width 62cm, depth 46cm, height of the legs 12cm. Approximate height of the lower part 52cm, and the upper part 61cm.
