Centrepiece bowl by jan ryheul for perignem, belgium 1960s. Black glaze underneath, deep red glaze in op top, white rim with a leaf pattern. Perignem is derived from lating "per ignem" or "through the fire". Signed jr for jan ryheul. Good vintage condition consistent with age and use, a couple of chips in glazing of the rim, as seen in the pictures.
