Exceptional! This old solid wood printing cabinet. This locker comes from an old printing house in the south of France, where it was used to store spacing and ingots by classifying them by various thicknesses and length from 4 to 60 ciceros. What makes all the beauty of this piece of furniture, beyond its absolutely magnificent condition, is that it comes out of the workshops of Alain Radiguer, specialist in equipment for graphic arts and printing. Alain Radiguer is one of the major figures of the resistance during the 2nd World War, and his company provided the necessary equipment to ensure the communication and propaganda of the resistance. It is therefore quite possible that this piece of furniture participated in the history of France. Furniture from radiguer workshops is particularly rare. These pieces of furniture were of excellent design and manufacture. This one has a double inclined bottom, which made it possible to store letters of different sizes, well wedged at the bottom of their space. On the top shelf is a small metal plate from the manufacturing workshop. This piece of furniture is of unparalleled authenticity, rich in history and of remarkable quality. It deserves to take place in a decoration worthy of the name, and that we find a new use. It would be perfect, for example, at the reception of a majestic hotel, to store the keys! Size: Height: 68 cm. Length: 93 cm. Width: 15 cm. Weight: 15 kg. Delivery possible in France and in the world.
