Rare set of 4 Ercol Quaker dining chairs / armchairs - English design 1960.

Set of 4 genuine "Carver" chairs (model with armrests) from the famous English brand ERCOL. This is the iconic "Quaker" model, recognisable by its high arched backrest, a technical feat by Lucian Ercolani. Why is this set rare? It is very difficult to find a complete set of 4 chairs (Carvers). This is the perfect opportunity to create a characterful dining room or to furnish a workspace. Stamp (mark) present under the seat "B.S. 1960-2056" with the heart logo, certifying original production from the 60s/70s. Colour: Original "Old Colonial" finish (dark shade). Sold "as is". The structures are sound, stable, and solid (no play in the joints). They show a visible and honest patina of use: the varnish is worn in places, particularly on the armrests and the tops of the backs (see photos), revealing the raw wood in patches. This gives them a lot of charm, but they can also be easily revarnished if you desire a perfect finish.
