Original kewlox cabinet from 1979, consisting of four steel corner brackets holding solid beech cross and spacers to create a sturdy frame. The yellow sliding doors with black pvc handles combined with the gray frame make this cabinet very playful. Dimentions. Height: 190 cm. Width: 90 cm. Depth: 42 cm. Le clercq & fils was a belgian company founded in 1950 by maurice le clercq. In collaboration with mr.Kewley, an english engineer, maurice le clercq developed a unique system for modular furniture that allowed furniture to be assembled without screws or glue. In 1956, le clercq & fils became "kewlox" s.a. This system, based on precise cutouts and wood joinery, became the basis for the kewlox furniture line. The company began producing storage furniture such as cabinets, sideboards and shelves, and their designs quickly gained popularity for their functionality and durability. In 1960, kewlox won the gold medal at the inventors fair and a place in the museum of modern art. Kewlox furniture remains highly sought after for its timeless design, high-quality craftsmanship and durability. It is often considered a design classic and is appreciated worldwide by architects and lovers of functional and modular furniture worldwide.
