A rare large vintage Norman cider carafe, hand-blown

A large, rare vintage cider decanter, hand-blown in Normandy. A collectible French vintage glass from a Normandy cider bar. Step back in time to the famous orchards of Normandy, where the apples used to produce the renowned Calvados (apple brandy) and liters of cider are grown. This large, rare decanter was used to decant cider from the barrel and to serve the drink with meals. The decanter would originally have had a flat-topped stopper. I tried to find one that would fit, but because the decanter is so large, they are all too small. It is in good vintage condition, with no cracks or chips. It has a deep scratch, which I have tried to show in the photos, as well as general scratches that one would expect to find on an object of this age. There are also a few bubbles in the glass. The carafe is 31.5 cm tall, with a base diameter of 12.5 cm, a top diameter of 7.5 cm, and weighs 1.22 kg.
