Louis XV style armchair restored

Louis 15 style armchair that I have completely restored in traditional method of seat tapestry. The seat wood was sanded, the assemblies glued, the cleats redone. The exposed wood is repainted black and covered with a satin varnish. The trims (back, cuffs and seat) are made of horsehair momentum (coconut fiber), the durability of this material is 5 times greater than foam. The velvet cover of the backrest and cuffs comes from the english house linwood (200 € per ml) I made the double rope in the same duck blue velvet as the seat. The seat and backrest are firm, they are because the horsehair is stitched tightly, so that the chair has a long life. Realization of the siege: spring 2023!.
