Large antique dish with a sailing boat design – signed A. Lebacqz & M. Bouchart

Large antique plate (1900-1920) with a marine decor in shades of blue. The rim is framed by a blue floral border in reserve. Stamped A. Lebacqz & M. Bouchart: Albert Lebacqz and Maurice Bouchart founded their pottery in Saint-Amand at the end of the 19th century, in one of the major ceramic centres of the North. The factory developed a production of fine earthenware before merging in 1923 with another pottery from Amand. In good vintage condition, with signs of use and marks of time (see photos). Diameter 32 cm. A marine and graphic touch.
