Rice box Thailand/ Burma

We sell a beautiful old rice box, from thailand or burma. This box, 37 cm high, rests on a square carved wooden base; its structure is in lacquered bamboo decorated with woven wicker; it has a lid. On its black patinated belly, there are burgundy-red octagonal panels on which thai writing stands out. This object has the charm of objects that come from afar. It is both very decorative and can be easily diverted to preserve all sorts of things. Some small wear consistent with age and use but very good general condition, including wicker braiding.
