Stylized head in patinated ochre terracotta on a dark wooden base, 17 cm

Small contemporary sculpture representing a stylized head with a refined face, fashioned from orange-ochre terracotta, enhanced with a discreet matte patina. This finish softens the reliefs while preserving the artisanal aspect of the material. The striations on the top of the skull suggest hair, while the irregular summit evokes a fragment of an ancient effigy. The head is mounted on a brass rod, fixed on a turned dark wooden base, which contrasts elegantly with the warm hue of the terracotta. Dimensions: 17 cm high (base included), 7 cm for the head alone. Good general condition with small irregularities related to the modeling. Unsigned piece, probably unique or from a very limited series.
