Old idéqqi modeled terracotta dish from grande kabylie. Early 20th century. Village of ait aissi. Kabyle women have perpetuated this ancestral art, a production common in everyday life but also represented in all the key moments of household life. This production transmitted from mother to daughter entered into a system of economic and cultural exchange where each region or tribe of kabylie had its specificity.
