Rivanel blue opaline dessert plates – 1960s

French white opaline glass signed Rivanel, circa 1960s. Set of 6 dessert plates, 18.5 cm diameter, 2 cm high. Underglaze printed blue decoration: central bouquets and a floral frieze around the rim. Very clean condition, no chips or cracks, minor rubbing consistent with the period. The opaline glass captures the light with a milky softness, and the delicate blue of the decoration lends it the charm of a family heirloom. Price: €38.
