Vintage mid-century ribbed pink powder teapot by Salins.

Teapot in earthenware from Salins-les-Bains, in a luminous powder pink shade. The body is structured by a moulded decoration of vertical ribs evoking a stylised shell. Rounded belly, slightly raised fine spout, full and comfortable handle, and a central domed knob shaped like an apple. Stamped Salins-les-Bains, from the 1950s-60s. In beautiful vintage condition, shiny glaze, with a tiny chip on the spout (see photos). Total height with lid 15 cm, height without lid 11 cm, length from handle to spout 22 cm, diameter at widest point 15 cm, estimated capacity 1.2 litres. Powdered palette, with a pronounced mid-century spirit.
