Teak Wood Dog Vintage Denmark – Sveistrup Design Mid-Century 1960

Magnificent vintage dog figurine made of authentic teak from the 1960s, emblematic of modernist Scandinavian design (Mid-Century Modern). Often mistakenly attributed to Laurids Lønborg or Gunnar Flørning due to its clean and expressive style, this rare model has its true original stamp under the paw: "COPYRIGHT SVEISTRUP DENMARK". Materials: Polished solid teak body, soft original leather ears, painted black legs and details. Charming details: Twisted white cotton rope tail, articulated pivoting head allowing for different expressions. Excellent vintage condition for its age. The teak wood has a superb warm patina with no cracks or chips. The leather ears are well preserved, the original black paint is very clean, and the copyright mark is perfectly legible. A healthy, well-cared-for collectible ready to join a sideboard or retro shelf.
