Round Queen Anne coffee table with caning and glass – 1930s

Round coffee table in British Queen Anne style, dating from the 1930s. The frame is made of light solid wood, beech or bleached walnut, with a curved belt featuring a molded profile. The top is adorned with hand-woven caning, displaying a radiating pattern from a central turned wooden medallion with a knob. A round glass top rests directly on the caning, protecting it while showcasing the craftsmanship. The four tapered cabriole legs, characteristic of the Queen Anne style, end in rounded pad feet typical of English production from this period. The caning shows general darkening and areas of wear consistent with the age of the piece, reflecting real use and unrefurbished authenticity. No apparent restoration. Dimensions: diameter 100 cm, height 61 cm. Weight: 8 kg. Table sold alone, without the poufs shown in the photos. A beautiful example of English furniture from the 1930s, functional and decorative, to be integrated into a classic or cottage-style interior.
