Napoleon III period sewing box, made by tahan. Rosewood, geometric markery of precious wood and mother-of-pearl, set with closure by small push button. Dimensions: length: 12 cm, width 6.5 cm, thickness 1.5 cm. Stamped tahan in paris on the inside of the closure. Tahan was one of napoleon iii's cabinetmakers. Good condition.
