The iconic acapulco pattern was created in the 1970s by christine reuter, inspired by the joyful mexican culture and its colorful designs, and is currently discontinued. The iconic acapulco design was launched in 1967 and is one of the colorful tableware patterns of the 20th century, highly sought after by collectors. The acapulco decor was designed by christine reuter and is inspired by mexican folk art, while also having psychedelic influences from this period of the 60s-70s. The acapulco design was discontinued in 1994. This colorful set is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
