Vallauris style ceramic ashtray – France, 1960s – volcanic glaze - N.1001V Made in the iconic style of Vallauris (France), circa 1960s. This beautiful decorative object is distinguished by its raw, chamotte texture reminiscent of lava, and by its vibrant glazes: a green/turquoise blue heart with a crackled effect, surrounded by four bright red glazed areas. The combination of colors and materials is typical of the artistic production of the Vallauris region during the post-war period. On the reverse is the inscription "N.1001V", probably a workshop or model reference. Unsigned object but in a style very close to the productions of the Vallauris school (Capron, Foucard-Jourdan, etc.). Condition: Good vintage condition, no chips, one crack visible in the bottom (fine fissure).
