1950s brass "shell" desk lamp, vintage lighting

Beautiful brass desk lamp dating from the 50s (perhaps of Italian origin?). The head is shell-shaped, it can completely tilt up or down. The foot is also tiltable forward or backward. It is in its original condition, note: the brass is pitted throughout, it will need proper cleaning to restore its original gold. The plug and switch have been changed, and the electricity has been redone. The lamp works with an E14 screw-in bulb (supplied with the lamp). This is a vintage item, it has wear and signs of age that make it a unique item with a story! Please take a good look at the photos, they are part of the product description. Dimensions: 16 cm high for the foot / 25 cm high with the head tilted as in the photo / 10 cm diameter at the base of the foot. Weight: 722 grams. This little lamp has a lot of charm!
