The post-war period being marked by a strong shortage of materials, steel wire made it possible to manufacture solid and functional armchairs at low cost. The living rooms were small and the transparent armchair took up less space than traditional furniture. The armchair was a great success, especially with young couples for whom it represented a very original and somewhat rebellious accessory. In the taste of bertoia, dim h86 X l57 X d50, numbered, very beautiful condition.
